Kilafairy in Tears, Almost Cancelled Performance at Udit Narayan Concert

Actress and singer Kilafairy couldn’t hold back her tears during Udit Narayan’s concert at Mega Star Arena last Saturday. The emotional moment came as she remembered her late mother, legendary singer Rohana Jalil, who was her lifelong inspiration.

This heartfelt moment was captured by Kilafairy’s close friend, actress Izara Aishah, and shared on TikTok. According to Izara, Kilafairy, whose real name is Syakila Nisa Jahangir Khan, almost cancelled her performance because she found it overwhelming to recall the beautiful memories of growing up with her mother while listening to Udit Narayan’s songs.

“One reason she almost cancelled her performance was that she felt she couldn’t do it without her mom,” said Izara in the post. “I didn’t know how to react… Love you always.”

Kilafairy and Syamel were given the honor of performing the opening act for the “Udit Narayan Live in Malaysia” concert.

The late Rohana Jalil passed away on June 20, 2023, due to a stomach perforation. Her absence is still deeply felt, especially by Kilafairy, who shared a close bond with her mother throughout her life. – BOOM!
