Following claims that Rozita Che Wan failed to repay a RM1 million loan with Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), her husband, Zain Saidin, has come forward to explain that they are working to resolve the issue without disclosing further details to the public.
Zain, 40, emphasized that this matter is more of a personal issue for his wife.
“We are making efforts, but not everything needs to be shared. As a husband, I can only offer support. It’s not my place to disclose more. I forgive all the accusations, and I understand that they don’t know the full story,” he said during a TikTok live session.
Zain also addressed criticisms from netizens who blamed them for this issue, claiming it was affecting other students’ loans.
“Do you think such a big company only has RM1 million to distribute? If we haven’t resolved this yet, it doesn’t mean others can’t get their loans. That’s not logical,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Zain revealed that Che Ta, 51, had refused media calls due to feeling upset about the situation.
“She’s upset and has blocked all the numbers trying to reach her. She doesn’t want to speak with them. But my wife and I have never run from our responsibilities; we’re doing our best,” he said.
Previously, Che Ta’s home was reported to have been raided by MARA officials along with court representatives, and it was stated that she had made a payment of RM50,000, though the payment date could not be confirmed. – BOOM!
