KRU Academy was officiated on the 4th June 2012 by the Honorable Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia. In the earlier years, KRU Academy focused on skills-based Diploma programs related to the Creative Industry.

After 7 years of operations with over 1,000 graduates, KRU Academy has transformed into a professional training institution for working professionals and graduates for up-skilling and re-skilling programs related to the Creative Industry and Digital Economy.
